Health Service Partner
BetterCare Group is recruiting a Health Service Partner to support patients, families and caregivers who need help getting timely and effective care and services. Our Partners provide solutions at every stage of life, for people of all ages and abilities.
In this role you will work directly with clients and/or their representatives to:
Find accommodation and residence within a community that meets their unique needs and values
Apply for insurance, benefits and programs to enhance independence, health and wellbeing
Develop person-focused care plans that place the client first, at the centre of their care
Listen to, and advocate for, patients, families and caregivers
Navigate an array of health services in Alberta and beyond
Qualifications
Degree in a health field: nursing, social work, allied health
Knowledge of continuing care legislation, regulation, and quality assurance
Knowledge of person-centred care, patient safety and experience
Knowledge of provincial medical insurance, health benefits, social assistance programs and services
Experience providing care in a clinical setting (community, ambulatory, primary care, acute care, etc.).

Flexible hours
Competitive wage that is incremental and performance based: $47.50 – $77.50 per hour
